Please Do Not Write On The Walls As It Is Hard To Get The Writing Off The Walls

The Fluid are another one of those Empty Records-type bands (Gas Huffer, Zeke, The Humpers, et al) who rocked decently enough for me to check out one or two of their records but weren't worth seeking out any further than that, which doesn't make for a very interesting blog post 20 years later. Sure, I'd rather go into battle alongside the likes of The Fluid than a bunch of different versions of Rain Parade and The Three O'Clock, but that's not saying much. In hindsight this one sorta rocks like Green River crossed with The Humpers, so if that seems exciting to you then click on the link and go for it. You know that everybody hated Sub Pop back then ('89/'90), right? Shit, you'd be surprised.

A longtime favorite of yours truly. In high school I thought they were the epitome of punk. Will probably be sharing some Fluid swill later this year. Stay tuned.
