10"-ers are pretty cool, but this one blows. I'm probably quicker to seek out hooks than your average 'youth crew' dude (oh, man, you should see me laughing sometimes while I write this bullshit), which makes me generally disposed to liking pop, but only when it has a bit of a knife edge to it. Sappy turds like The Summer Suns, they're just not getting there the right way. This is the kind of 'paisley psych'-leaning, vaguely 'literary' stuff that I was already fed up with back in the '80s, mostly because of the annoying guys in Beatle boots wearing Sonny Bono-type shag haircuts who stood around the record store all day telling everyone what the 'good music' is. Get lost, hippie. If you're looking for Beatle-esque hooks that aren't sappy, someone like Matt Gouette pisses all over this shit. This 10" somehow fetches upwards of $40 on Discogs, though I can't figure out why.

Y'know I was hoping to offer a defense of the eighties jangle but this really lacks bite. It sounds pleasant enough but it's ultimately pretty forgettable.
Even these are two of the 'hardest' songs on the record, believe it or not.
Plus there's like a hundred pretenses with this record, it just gets annoying.

See, only now none of your friends saw it
Does this site have a page on Facebook?
Occasionally, yes.
I always like to have a read about such things, my blog is related if you want to have a look round it please feel free. I have added yours to my bookmarks.
Bullshit
It would be really funny if that person is spamming hundreds of thousands of sites while forgetting the crucial element to spamming, which would be providing some type of link to click.
I guess it's a little less of an issue than it would have been pre-Internet. Like if you went around an entire city putting fliers under everybody's door that said only "give me money" with no name or contact info.
Maybe it's a test, like they're just testing the locks before the real spam shows up.
