We'll Wipe It All Clean

Just a few things I was thinking, since writing does not equal thinking and I don't feel like doing either one at this point:

Sometimes I swear that Oiltanker are the best live band in Connecticut.

Oiltanker have a brand new six-song 7" EP, "Crusades", out on Bullshit Propaganda/Rats of the Capitol (last Saturday was the record release show, at Whitney House).

By request, Oiltanker covered "Breaking the Law" last Saturday, which was awesome. They almost know how to play it, too.




Escalator's set was one of the top five or six sets I've seen at Whitney House this year, without question. Way more speedy and sharp compared to their set at Whitney two weeks earlier.
