I'm A Total Fucking Mess

Here's some of the earliest, out-of-print Estrogen Highs stuff gathered all in one place, namely as a CD-R which the band released themselves a few years back -- in either '08 or '09 -- as an edition of fifty with a couple of different covers (if I remember correctly), probably to use as tour merch or something. The first two Estrogen Highs 7"-ers were taken from solo material that Stefan had recorded on his own, playing everything himself, while the Telephone Explosion tape -- which is great, loud, and totally blown-out -- was one of the first Estrogen Highs recordings as a full band. I may have some details messed up, who knows. To this day, the "E Major D Construction" 45 is two total hits, though I'm starting to come around a little bit on the "She Don't Bother" 7" as well. I don't feel bad about sharing this now because it's all stuff that's been passed around on the internet before by people in the band, though I'll probably only leave the links up for a month or two (it was originally a .zip file until Mediafire took the pipe on it).

"Can't Complain"

"She's Gone Missing"

She Don't Bother 7"

"She Don't Bother"

"Silly Questions"

"Friends Family LSD"

S/T cassette

"Chat Perdue"

"Red/Green"

"Thinkin' of My Health"

"Not Right"

"New Amphetamine Shriek"

Thanks for this! And welcome to discogs, though all your shit should be about thrice the price. Striving for fairness was like, three punk rocks ago, I'm told.

I plan on transacting with you when the Money Jesus slides down m'chimney on Wednesday. 'Til then, thanks again.

Oh yeah, that's right, I'm on Discogs now. I'm running out of crate space and all my records are spilling out all over the place, so I figured I'd try to get rid of some stuff that I'd ripped to the computer already. Hasn't really worked out so far.

I'm having the same experience, plus I have this early Clean record that I basically - apologies - cannot bring myself to sell for what it's "worth." No idea what to do about it. Just hoping my sexy, sealed copy of Live Skull's "Snuffer," or maybe that Mike Rep 7", or maybe those Gibson Bros. on 45RPM, will lure Coldplay fans out of darkness and into the light.

I think people want the records you're selling and will just take a little time finding you. Today for example, I just had the goddamn Rapeman LP taken out from under me becuz I sat on it too long (the nerds are out there, fear not.)

Recall that I found you without trying, all because you had Man Sized Action and Died Pretty records on my wantlist. Is Died Pretty worth it, by the way? I'm always grasping their wax in the store and then putting it down. Maybe I'll check if you posted on the subject... Anywho, I'm coming for Man-Sized Action (and probably Halo of Flies) tomorrow, so why not make a night of it and hit your local Bennigan's? Get some fugging apps.

Early Died Pretty stuff is fantastic, just look to see if it's on Citadel or What Goes On (one of those type of labels) and then you'll probably be safe in buying it. You want the stuff with Brett Myers' heavy guitar work on it, without it they're almost bland college rock.

Thank you very much for this!
And oddly, am leaving to see The Clean right this second...

Wish I was getting to see them (I think they played in NYC last weekend, or some upcoming weekend, I forget...)
