Stuck In A Nightmare Forever

After three weeks of dicking around trying to find a copy, I finally got ahold of the Guilty Faces "Nightmares" EP on Saturday, and wouldn't you know, it's really really great. Just for you, I made a tape of it (meaning these are listen-only files), so you can check it out and see that I'm not completely stupid sometimes and you really should buy this thing. Plus it's got one of the best sleeves ever, like a total '78 new wave/Dangerhouse happening, which should do plenty to kick your irrational consumerism into gear. Try Sorry State Records (that's where I found mine), and save yourselves three weeks of trouble.

Hopefully this brings the DDTeens the fame they deserve when people start digging to find older Tom Perkins material.

If you like this stuff, just wait'll you hear the Guilty Faces album -- the sound is a lot cleaner, harder, and faster; a real punch in the gut. I swear, Tommy even sounds like Tommy Stinson a bit.

Hey, Jere, do you know anything about Official Hooligans? Got their record? The aforementioned Mr. Perkins is looking for a copy, but I have no idea...

I don't know nobody named Iris. Or anything about Official Hooligans. But tell Tom I'm looking for a copy of The Bathrobes' 7".

Shit, we are officially Hooligan-less.

Haha. I just found a painting I made of the Papal Suicide "logo." I'll have to post it online.

There's a copy of the Official Hooligans 7" on ebay for $5 right now. I went to school with these guys and just sent Evan (gtr/vox) an e-mail to get back in touch, but I'm pretty sure the 7" is the only recorded material

That's awesome - thanks for the heads-up!

Went for almost $20, with the shipping. I didn't feel like going that high. Maybe Al Pist still has some...
