Gotta Gotta Sinking Feeling

My favorite New Bomb Turks song, from one of my all-time favorite albums, "Information Highway Revisited". Since this is from the Rev. Norb picture disc it probably won't sound as good as the LP pressing, so just keep playing it louder and louder until you don't notice. Kinda like sticking cheap beer in the freezer before you drink it.

The flip side, "Feel It", is a Motorcycle Boy cover. Motorcycle Boy were some poofy-haired L.A. band, which means they were probably pretty gay.

Nicely printed disc, brushback, but for some reason when I click on either track and attempt to preview on Box Net I'm getting strange scrolling characters freezing my browser.

Could be the problems at my end ; I'm sure it was working the last time i tried it...

Yes, I'm getting that too when I tried it just now.

Hopefully it's just a temporary problem with Box.net...

I just tried Detailed Twang (Jay uses Box.net, also), and got the same thing.

Those glitches are a pain in the ass. DivShare was down for an entire day - due to a hacking incident - and since it's been back my play/download count appears to arbitrarily reset itself.

Not one hosting service seems immune from periodic hassle.

I really like that DivShare player that you have, by the way. I've been thinking about switching over to something like that if Box ever became a hassle, but so far it's been pretty smooth-- until today.

It's Yahoo - or at least I inserted the Yahoo code onto the page - but I did read that DivShare also utilises its own player on direct links, so you may be right. I went through the whole process in too much of a hurry.

Even if you stay with Box you can embed the Yahoo Media Player code in Blogger Layout and have people preview the tracks without leaving the page. A couple of site's I'm aware of use Box and Yahoo in conjunction. Just bring up the player on my page and click on the "more about this player" link to its right. It's free, also; which should not be sniffed at.

I just remembered. Joe uses the same player on "Last Days of Man On Earth" too. I haven't accessed my site from another computer so far, so if you can only see the DivShare player check out Joe's site for the free Yahoo player.
